Scantist Selected for Singapore's AI Trailblazers 2.0 Program to Develop AI-Powered Security Solutions

Singapore-based AI startup Scantist has been chosen as one of 150 organizations to participate in the inaugural AI Trailblazers initiative, a joint program by the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI), Digital Industry Singapore (DISG), Smart Nation Group (SNG), and Google Cloud. Scantist is the only security-focused company selected for this prestigious program.

As part of AI Trailblazers, Scantist will leverage Google Cloud's advanced AI infrastructure and tools to develop groundbreaking solutions for software supply chain security. The company plans to create industry-first AI-powered automated code patching and remediation capabilities to address critical cybersecurity challenges.

"We are honored to be selected for the AI Trailblazers program and excited to push the boundaries of AI in cybersecurity," said Charles HUANG, Co-founder and COO of Scantist. "With access to Google Cloud's cutting-edge AI technologies, we aim to revolutionize how organizations secure their software supply chains and protect against vulnerabilities."

"Early movers in Singapore are already leveraging generative AI to better serve and engage with their stakeholders. However, to drive awareness and adoption of this technology—at a scale that transforms an economy and delivers high-impact outcomes for citizens—requires the programmatic and intentional approach that we're proud to be undertaking in partnership with the Singapore Government," said Mr Karan Bajwa, Vice President, Asia Pacific, Google Cloud.

The AI Trailblazers initiative provides participating organizations with access to Google Cloud's unified AI stack, including high-performance infrastructure, the Vertex AI platform, foundation models, and low-code developer tools. This support will enable Scantist to accelerate the development of its innovative AI-driven security solutions.

Scantist's selection for this program underscores Singapore's commitment to fostering AI innovation and supporting homegrown startups in critical technology sectors. As the only security-focused company in the cohort, Scantist is well-positioned to make significant contributions to Singapore's cybersecurity landscape and the broader AI ecosystem.

The company looks forward to showcasing its progress and demonstrating the potential of AI to transform software security practices as it progresses through the AI Trailblazers program.
